Activities

The project will realize:

• the European Autobiography and Life Stories Award “Telling Europe”, (in the wake of a previous Grundtivig2 project “Raccontare l’Europa” (“Telling Stories of Europe”), already carried out by an associate of the coordinating institution);

• an European Autobiography Festival;

• an Experimental Social Network of “Groups of Narration” – that is, groups of volunteers in the different European partners of the project who, after suitable training, would be involved in activities of adult education through autobiographical and historical activities; the volunteers will read the stories submitted for the award, organize events for their diffusion, create voluntary translation groups (with the active involvement of language students from the various countries, thus creating a series of educational and participation activities from the bottom up;

• training sessions for teachers of autobiographical writing, languages and other subjects, social workers, volunteers, etc., for the development of techniques to be used in teaching or social activities using the stories in the digital archive.
